11-Nov-2018 : Leadership Training for Pakistan Biggest Student Organization
On 11th Nov, I was invited by the Area Mehmoodabad chapter of one of the biggest student organization of Pakistan. The training session was on Leadership and the amazing part is that it was not a classroom session, but the whole park of one of the biggest farmhouse of Karachi was the classroom. The session was more towards facilitation rather than only presentation of the content. The students’ participation was amazing, the confidence level was good. This session not only gave them insights about the leadership but also improved their team-working and public speaking abilities. Below are the pictures of the event:
About the organization:
Islami Jamiat-e-Talaba Pakistan (Urdu: اسلامی جمعیت طلبہ ) is the largest and most organised student organisation in Pakistan. It was founded by 25 students on 23 December 1947 at Lahore, Pakistan on the advice of Maulana Naeem Siddiqui. Islami Jamiat -e- Talaba Pakistan (The Most Liked Students’ Network) is working in Pakistan to eliminate the non-Islamic factors and secularism from the curriculum and teachings of the educational institutions of Pakistan. Before the ban on students’ unions, Jamiat won the elections throughout the country. IJT’s contribution to solve students’ issues is more than 90%.
